Not every convertible is a real convertible.

Be warned: a so called “Parade Car Convertible” is a false convertible. It can also be called “Custom Convertible”. It’s a coupe with the hardtop cut off. Once the hardtop is cut, it’s not a coupe any more – and it’s no real convertible. In my opinion these cars are a shame. I would prefer to have a nice coupe than this. For collectors these cars don’t have a real value. Keep your eyes open when you seek for your convertible on ebay.

ALSO.. beware of the guy who sells on ebay. He sells the biggest piles of rusting rubbish anywhere. He uses the ebay name Luvdg. He is in Florida. He is one of the only guys I know that can “restore” a car worse than how it was before he got it.
