Now, after moving the '77 and '62, I get to start the '53 after it's sat for over two weeks due to cold, damp weather! If it goes more than two weeks without being started, one of the lifters on the right side collapses and taps upon start-up–after driving about two milesIt pumps back up and quitens down. Took it for a nice highway drive afterward.

This is a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible. This car was purchased in 1984 as a project car. We received it in pieces and put it in storage until 2007. In 2007 we started on the project by taking the car completely apart down to the frame. The frame has been blasted and powder coated and the car has been 100% rebuilt from the frame up. The car was completed in November of 2009.
